Classes are semi-private. Small class size ensures a very interactive learning experience. Instruction encompasses twenty-four hours of teaching over 3-4 days. Scheduling is flexible.
You will learn how to plan a project, warp a frame loom, make heddles, create butterflies, weave diagonals, interlock and turned joints and other techniques.
Studio Location: Classes are held in my studio, located 45 kilometers south west of Ottawa and minutes from Almonte. The studio is surrounded by maple forest, farmland and the nearby Ottawa Valley Rail Trail. For out-of-town students, there are lovely inns and B&B’s available with much to discover between weaving classes. Explore the town’s unique shops, restaurants, the riverwalk and historic buildings. First stop – the Mississippi Valley Textile Museum.
Please note: The studio is not offering classes at this time due to Covid 19. I look forward to opening the studio again. For further updates. you may contact me via email.
